We spent New Year’s eve at the ranch, as we were invited to a large party at the Two Dot Ranch (still on the YO Ranch, where we are). You don’t say no to a party at the Two Dot!
The Two Dot Ranch is pretty special, but the main house is nothing short of incredible. Amazingly, for these types of parties they open the whole thing up for the guests, and you are free to go everywhere and see it all. Now, I didn’t take any photos… I wouldn’t have known where to start. The place is like a museum! We are talking years of curated travel souvenirs from all over the world, a human skull, giant fossils, beautifully carved Arab doors, and more stuffed dead animals than at a museum of natural history. Check out the link above for a virtual house tour.
Over the course of the evening we ate some food, took a few tours of different sections of the house, met some cool people, and had some drinks. At midnight, we watched fireworks over the YO. It was a great evening!
Happy New Year everyone! I hope that 2014 is a fabulous one!
