Food day | Vancouver

We tried to go to our favourite crêpes place for breakfast, but sadly they had shut down. On the upside, our day got much better from there!

After a quick bite we walked through downtown all the way to the Olympic village to meet some friends at the food cart festival going on. Did I mention that I had missed Vancouver?

The Food Cart Fest was pretty epic. There were tons of options – but also really long lines! I waited for a grilled cheese sandwich that was so delicious (and note from the future: I still dream of it!). Then we had some fancy Popsicle, and a crêpe, and we called it a day!

After lunch we headed out to the park for some drinks, sunshine, hangout time, and a few games of bocce ball.

More friends met us for dinner at L’Abattoir. The food there was inventive, playful and tasty, but the room was so hot! We were cooking in there.

We finished the evening with drinks on a patio, with even more friends.

Vancouver (and friends), you are just the best!
