Travis had left yesterday to get back home, but today was our turn to leave Osoyoos.
On the drive back we stopped at Le Vieux Pin, the sister winery of LaStella. They are also located in Oliver, but they make French style wines. We were not as impressed with their wines, but they still had some excellent offerings.
We also stopped at Blue Mountain – they usually have good bubbly and Chardonnay. The views to get there are amazing, so this is totally worth the detour! They are located in Okanagan Falls.
For lunch we stopped in Pentincton, specifically the Naramata Bench. We ate at Hillside Estate, which again, has gorgeous views on top of good food. This is Travis and I’s favourite area in the region.
Lastly, on the final stretch back home, we stopped at 8th Generation where we saw this clever sign. Their wines though are not really worth the stop.
And here is some lake beauty to conclude the road trip.
This is the last post from my parents’ visit. Thank you so much for everything and for coming to visit! It means the world to me 🙂
