At the pumpkin patch | Home

Travis and I finally had a day off together, and we decided to go harvest our own pumpkins at a local pumpkin patch. After a bit of Google-ing we picked a farm, and headed there. We were disappointed to find that there was no actual patch (unless you count a 2×3 patch with 3 pumpkins in it) to pick pumpkins from, and that the pumpkins were quite overpriced. Still, we looked around and paid to access the corn maze. It followed the normal maze rule (always turn left), but it was so peaceful in there… it was really nice to feel so secluded yet so secure at the same time. Travis felt the same way too, and stayed in there much longer than I.

We bought a few pumpkins, including a beautiful “bulldog” one in sades of salmon, and then headed to a local farm stand to buy more pumpkins at an affordable price. Maybe next year we’ll have better luck finding the right pumpkin farm!
