Week 2 update | Home

blossom time

It was another busy week for us, but this time filled with a lot more of boring stuff and a lot less with amazingly rewarding things.

+ We applied for health care. Woot! It’s good to be back in Canada.

+ We filed our 2010 taxes. Fun!

+ Edited lots of photos and sent CDs to friends.

+ I got a cellphone.

+ Finalized image submissions for Getty.

+ Enjoyed our balcony and our new patio furniture. We drank iced tea in the sun out of our “new” carafe, purchased at a yard sale.

+ Updated my résumé – using an old copy from 2007 I found in my emails. So glad I found a copy! It can be hard not having our things with us…

+ I applied for a job! It seemed too good to pass up.

+ We planned on purchasing bikes to get around the city, but that proved to be harder than expected. We ended up buying plants instead. It brings life to the apartment, and makes it feel a lot more lived in!

+ Travis had the great idea to move some of the furniture around in the living room, and I think that it looks much better.

+ Moved all of our trip photos from two external drives into one. Next step: figure out just how many photos we took on our trip!

Well, I think that’s about it!
