A cold walk | Canada

We headed out to Magog today to take a walk by the marsh at the Rivière aux Cerises. It was cold and windy, and all wildlife was hiding save for a few ducks. Still, we followed the path above and through the marsh, checking out the vegetation and trying to keep ourselves warm.

After our walk we decided to check out Lake Memphremagog, which is half in Canada and half in Vermont. Indeed, the mountains in the picture are mostly in the States. It was even colder by the lake though, and so we decided to head back home and warm up with a glass of wine instead. A much better idea if you ask me! 🙂
