We had a quiet day today, and I always like those kinds of days. we checked out of our hotel, headed back to my mom’s and went out for breakfast. I had an amazing eggs Benedict with salmon… I think I’ll have to go back there and order that dish again. Afterwards we stopped at the marché Atwater and got a stunning roast beef for dinner. Travis served it medium rare with roasted potatoes, black trumpet mushrooms and sunchokes while I made a salad from our mysterious green with fennel bulb and blood oranges. What a feast!
PS. There were also some beets in the roasted veggies.
