Christmas in Spetember | South Africa

christmas in september

Travis’ family arrival also meant goodies from home. As always, we try to get family and friends meeting us to bring us things we need replenished, or things we simply need. This time our list had been very long, so I am quite sure that everyone was happy to empty their luggage to give us our stuff. We also had a few happies, which were awesome!

So, what did we get? I had ordered a few photography things: a timer, filters, lens protector, etc. Travis had asked for a book, which ended up weighing 5 pounds. We also got toiletries (soap, deodorant, razor blades, toothbrush and toothpaste, etc), Ziploc bags, Mac’n’Cheese. Travis got clothing and a new headlamp. We got a new external drive to replace the one we had, which was full. And as happies, we got a bottle of Champagne and of Whiskey. Pretty awesome, right?

Now it’s our bags that are overflowing though! 😉

The mac and cheese made me laugh… but I totally get it! I have people send me Butterfinger candy bars! 🙂
