Around Saranda: the good | Albania

Saranda is a pretty city right on the Adriatic Sea, facing Corfu (Greece) and across from Italy’s boot. The sea is blue and clear, and being there is little before the high season meant that it was also pretty quiet. We walked around town to find markets and appealing restaurants, and also to check out the main beaches. How many city can say that they have hundred of year old ruins right on the beach itself? Not too many!

Our hostel is amazingly located, facing the sea and Corfu. Every day the view is slightly different, and we can’t stop ourselves from being amazed by it.
