Into the Bay of Kotor | Montenegro

This morning we left the comforts of our Croatian mini-apartment and took off for Montenegro, the next country over down the coast. Our bus ride was one of the most amazing bus rides ever: it followed Croatia’s amazing coastline, only to then follow Montenegro’s coastline. As we were heading into Tivat, located into the Bay of Kotor’s amazing fjord, the drive got even prettier. Tiny villages dotting the coast, roller-coaster roads, tall mountains, churches on islands – this place is incredible!

After settling into our hostel (which was not as advertised, but will do), we went back into Tivat proper to quickly check out the city. Patios in the sun, blue water, people swimming, big boats, and no Western tourists. I think we did pretty good!
