Moving around | Thailand

Today we had two main events, yet it was still a quiet and relaxing day.

First, we changed hotel from the Mandarin Oriental to the Sukhothai. We left the riverside and classic / colonial style behind and headed into the city for a more modern feel. I will be blogging about the Sukhothai tomorrow. The pictures bellow are from breakfast at the Oriental.

From the Sukothai, Travis and I headed out to go pick up our Bangladeshi visas from the embassy. The embassy is actually quite far away and not accessible via public transport, so we’ve had to take long taxi rides in Bangkok traffic. On the upside hardly anyone goes to Bangladesh; as such the service at the embassy has been really fast. This gem was in our taxi – I couldn’t resist taking a photo of it.
