Making new friends | Cambodia

Cambodia turned out to be a blessing in meeting fantastic people. First we met Pete and Natasha, and today we met Tyler and Tara.

After a day at the beach we headed with Natasha and Pete to a restaurant to meet up with Tara and Tyler, an American couple who had been cycling around the world. They had never met, but had been exchanging online and we just all happened to be in the same city at the same time. As it turns out, they are amazingly inspirational people. Their photography is stunning, they have way more guts than we have (photographing strangers and getting in real close, actually cycling around the world) and they blog every day. We exchanged stories and I learned about photography, writing and discipline. We drank beers and ate tasty food and in that moment I knew that the four people I had met in Cambodia would be people I would want to keep in my life. I felt happy and blessed, and inspired.

The following are by Tara and Tyler, although I took the one of Travis while trying out their Nikon.
