Back in Bangkok, Thailand since the evening of the 13th and all that I can say is that things haven’t changed a bit. Maybe the souvenirs and the clothes for sale aren’t all the same, and maybe there are some new hotels and restaurants, but it feels and looks as though I was here yesterday. In a way, I really like going back to places that I know – it makes it fun and easy. On the other, I am looking forward to exploring something new as we leave tomorrow night for Chang Mai, in Northern Thailand.
In the meantime, I have been getting my full of internet (fast fast!), shopping (amazing vintage Japanese dress) and eating (too much to say!). There hasn’t been many photos though, because, well, it so doesn’t feel new or exciting in that sense yet. But I did take some, so here are some photos of our adventures so far along Khaosan Road and Chatuchak market (perhaps the biggest market in SE Asia – it’s MASSIVE!).
