October 10th had arrived, meaning that it is now time for us to bid Japan adieu and head to Singapore. Our flight not being until the evening though, we had some time to do a little bit more sightseeing. We decided to try Harajuku again to see if we would have better luck this time with finding girls in cosplay.
Well, we didn’t find anyone dressed in cosplay, but we did stumble upon a food festival. We looked around the booths and Yoyogi-koen park until it was time to head back to the hostel and grab our bags.
When we checked out of the hostel, we were given a little goodbye package, which included candy and origami. We took full advantage of it during the 1.5 hour train ride to the airport.
Finally, it was time to board our plane. I was really excited to be going back to Singapore, which had been one my favourite city on my previous big trip. Travis hadn’t liked it at all before, but I was convinced that I could show him the Singapore that I had fallen in love with and convert him. We’d have to see if I was right, but I was going to keep my fingers crossed during the whole flight just in case! Just kidding… or maybe not!
