Views from our hostel | Japan

After our early start we headed back to our hostel in Asukasa. We hung out in our room and rested for a while, but went up to the top floor a few times to look at the views over the neighborhood.

On the first occasion, a weird message suddenly started playing over the loudspeakers. It felt really eerie, especially so since we couldn’t understand what it was about. When I asked the front desk what it had been about, no one even recalled having heard anything.

The second time we went up to the top floor was to get a view of the electric storm that had developed. It was violently windy and loud, but since I love thunderstorms I had a blast. The lightning stayed hidden behind clouds though, so I couldn’t get a shot of it.
